Molded fiberglass DURAMAX ISOLATION bed. Closed on four sides, it is freestanding and can be set on casters or permenantly anchored. It has a contoured platform for added comfort, with an incline to raise the torso and ample toe space with its recessed base. The surface finish is textured and the standard color brown. The steel bars are easy to reach, allow for use of handcuffs while seated and provide a range of restraint attach points, to accommodate different physiques. Rounded corners and edges add an extra margin of safety. Washable, will not absorbed body fluids and can be ordered fire retardant. Mental health and substance abuse treatment centers as well as detention facilities have an application for this bed.
