The D2 blade steel used is characterized by high edge-retention and corrosion-resistance. The pocket-knife is opened with the customary nail nick, while the backlock reliably locks the blade in place. For a traditional touch, the handle is made from a mother-of-pearl imitation with nickel silver bolsters at both ends of the handle and is stylishly accentuated by three rivets.
