Details

The CIPS (Covert in Plain Sight) Communications Kit enables plainclothes officers to remain covert while communicating using a tactical radio. Standard earbud earphones, commonly used with cell phones and MP3 players, allow the operator to blend in seamlessly out in public. The tactical radio is connected to a mini PTT (Push-to-Talk), Sniper Ring, so the officer is able to key the radio and use the microphone in the smartphone headset without any indication to outsiders that a tactical radio is in use.
