To deliver peak performance, it is outfitted with extra-low dispersion (ED) glass, broadband anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics, dielectric coated and phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms, and protective exterior lens coatings that work together to maximize light transmission through the entire light path without color fringing. The results are bright, sharp, and clear high-contrast views with accurate color fidelity and crisp resolution across the entire visual spectrum, even in challenging conditions such as at dawn and dusk or when viewing across vast wide open spaces. To further improve the observational experience, the Engage is designed with a long eye relief and comfortable exit pupil as well as a wide 65° apparent angle of view. This minimizes the distracting hand shake that is common with powerful optics and presents a spacious field of view.
